Earlier this month Sony announced the release of its latest internal blue-ray drive for pcs.

The drive works with Windows Vista or XP and combines CD drive, DVD drive and Blue-ray. It can already be pre-ordered and should be fully available later this month. It seems that it might be the final nail in Toshiba‘s coffin as recently Paramount ceased to support Toshiba‘s HD DVD. So now for a mere $199,95 you can supply your pc with state-of-the-art versatile drive.
