JVC’s ‘thinnest’ lcd TV

At the beginning of the year companies show off their new developments. We mentioned the biggest flat TV in the world, and probably the biggest computer monitor.



One another similar device has been recently shown by JVC - the world’s thinnest LCD TV.

The TV is equipped in with a tuner and will be available this summer in two versions: 42-inch and 46-inch. Apart from being thin, the TVs are also less power-consuming than the thicker sets. Both of them should consume more or less 145W. Across almost the whole width of the TV it’s 1.5 inch thick and only in its thickest spot it is 2.9 inch (74 mm). Both the 42-inch and the46-inch version have a built in iPod dock and will work in high - 1920 x 1080p resolution. Their prices will be announced this summer when the Tvs appear in shops.
