Sony’s NV-U83T - the best navigator ever
The Sony NV-U83T is Sony’s newest sat-nav device.
NV-U83T features Bluetooth technology for hands-free phone calls and built-in microphone, moreover similarly to Apple’s MacBook Air it works with hand gestures to zoom in and out or change a destination.
The Sony NV-U83T has a large 4.8 inch screen with 16:9 aspect ratio and anti-glare coating so drivers can see the screen in any lighting condition. The Sony NV-U83T also has a dual view mode with 3D renditions of approaching intersections, so when you are approaching a large intersection the screen splits and on one half you can see the route you should turn to and on the other half bigger perspective, or the traditional view (see the picture).
According to Sony, their new in-car GPS system features Position Plus Technology which can provide accurate positions even when your GPS signal is low, so when you are in a tunnel and you have no signal Sony’s NV-U83T will nevertheless tell you if you should take a turn just a few meters after you drive out of it. You can already buy it for just $399,99.
