Nokia E71
Nokia E71 has been designed primarily for businessmen and indeed it has all necessary features in compact body.
Intro:
Nokia E71 is one of the best equipped cell phones on the market at the moment. At the same time it is relatively light and small and has neat design almost perfect for businessmen. Thanks to its operating system – Symbian 9.2 with FP 1 it is reliable and versatile.
Nokia E71 pros:

+ Excellent battery life
+ Stainless steel casing
+ Built-in GPS receiver
+ 128 MB of SDRAM and 369 MHz CPU
+ Remote wipe
+ Full QWERTY keyboard
+ 110 MB of internal memory, microSD card slot, 2 GB card included in the box

+ VoIP support
Nokia E71 cons:
- Poor video recording
- Poor camera performance
- Smallish display
- No dedicated camera key
The design:
Nokia E71 measures 114 x 57 x 10 mm and weights 127g which akes it the smallest and one of the lightest full QWERTY devices on the market right now. The phone has high quality steel casing which looks classy and its only drawback is the red power key. On the front of the camera you will find the QWERTY keyboard of course and above it the 2.36 inch 16M-color QVGA display. Above the display are: the video-call camera lens, ambient light sensor and the earpiece. On the left side of Nokia E71 is the infrared port, microSD card slot and the microUSB port. On the right side are the 2.5 mm standard audio jack, voice command key and two volume controls. At the bottom you will find the lanyard eyelet and the charger plug.
At the back is the stainless steel battery cover, as well as 3 megapixel camera lens with LED flash and a self-portrait mirror.
Performance:
Nokia E71 features a truly high capacity battery – full 1500 mAh thanks to which it is quoted at 410 hours of stand-by and over 10 hours of talk time. Of course, if you use it to browse the Internet or find something via GPS the battery will die quicker, but nevertheless it is extraordinarily powerful. The phone has very good reception on both ends so there is no problem talking even in loud surrounding. The built-in GPS works very well although it needs some time to get the initial lock, but after that everything goes smoothly. A bit larger display would be useful for using the phone as a GPS navigation but still it does its job pretty well. The display itself is of very good quality with vivid image and great contrast level. Unlike in Samsung phones Nokia E71 has also good sunlight legibility.
The phones QWERTY keyboard is small, but comfortable, at leat to people with small and moderately big fingers. People with bigger fingers might have some troubles pushing the buttons bit I think this is always the case in such devices. The keyboard enables you to write messages in a quick and pleasant manner. Nokia E71 supports SMS, MMS, audio messages and e-mail.message editors have no new features and are all easy to use.
Nokia E71 has also a surprisingly good for a business device music player which supports MP3, AAC, eAAC+ and WMA. It has five equalizer presets and additional effects. You can filter the tracks by author, album, genre, or create own play lists. The phone has good frequency response.
And now its time to proceed to the worse side of Nokia E71. The phone has average (to put it mildly) camera and video recorder. Although the camera offers numerous settings no matter how hard you try you can never get a good quality picture. The photos always lack detail and have high noise levels.
Menus / ease of use:
Thanks to its fast CPU and operating system Nokia E71’s menus work seamlessly and quickly. The phone comes with four different pre-installed themes, but there is plenty of them on the net waiting to be downloaded. As Nokia E71 uses Symbian the phonebook is practically unlimited and you can have multiple fields for a given contact. The OS is easy to useand plenty of features such as unit converter, organizer, calendar, notes, or mobile office. Nokia E71 supports Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF files.there is also z ZIP manages which you can use on your phone.
