The design:
Nokia E66 measures 107.5 x 49.5 x 13.6 mm and weights 121 grams. The phone is made of high quality material and does not produce rattling or any disturbing sounds. The front of the phone is dominated by the 2.4-inch 16M-color QVGA display. Above the display there is the video call camera, ambient light sensor and between them the earpiece. Sliding the phone reveals the comfortable keypad with big, responsive buttons. The uppermost raw of buttons might be slightly difficult to press for people with bigger hands, but it couldn’t be otherwise in such a small device. Of the left side of the cell phone is the microUSB port, 2.5mm standard audio jack, as well as the infrared port. The beauty of the phone is a bit spoilt by the red button at the top of Nokia E66. At the bottom you will find the charger plug and the lanyard eyelet. The right side of the phone is home to the two volume keys, dedicated camera key and the voice command key. At the back there is the 3 megapixel camera lens, however, without any cover so it is prone to scratches. Next to the lens is the LED flash and the self-portrait mirror, whereas at the bottom left corner the loudspeaker grill.

Performance:
As always with Nokia the reception is excellent at all times. The phone has a very advanced call manager you can filter unwanted messages, or make the phone do it for you. But Nokia E66, as a business device, is about a lot more than just making phone calls. The phone has a built-in GPS and NokiaMaps which both work quite well although a bit too slowly, so if having a GPS in your phone is the priority for you I suggest you try the iPhone 3G, or Nokia 6210 Navigator. Nokia E66 supports all message types: SMS, MMS, e-mail and audio messages. The editors are intuitive and really easy to use, as on any other Symbian device. Moreover, Nokia E66 supports Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email solution.
Nokia E66 has also a surprisingly good multimedia player for a business device. It supports plenty of file types, has five customizable equalizer presets, stereo widening effect and and advanced filtering. The videos can be played in portrait or landscape mode, and of course fullscreen.
Nokia E66 is also very good for browsing the web. Although it has a bit smallish display, the websites are rendered almost like on your Mac, or PC. The phone’s browser supports Java and Flash out of the box, so you really should have no difficulties browsing any sites, including Youtube.
One of the biggest downsides of Nokia E66 is the poor camera. Both photos and videos taken with the phone are of average quality [if you are lucky]. The phone has the business card scanner, but it also does not do a very good job.

Menus / ease of use:
Nokia E66 runs on Symbian so it is really easy to use, pretty and highly customizable. There are several pre-installed themes, but you can download a lot more from the Internet. The phone supports Microsoft Word documents, as well as Excel and PowerPoint files and PDFs. Unfortunately, you cannot edit the files out of the box, but this is the case with the majority of phones. Nokia E66 has very advanced phonebook with practically unlimited contracts and fields for each contact.
Additionally, Nokia E66 has applications such as unit converter, calculator, voice recorder or Notes application.
