Clevo TN121R is a highly portable and very powerful convertible tablet notebook suitable for students and businessmen who need to carry around a small computer.

Introduction:
Clevo TN121R combines everything that you might expect from a high class portable computer: neat design, good performance and acceptable price. The Clevo TN121R has a built-in 7-in-1 Memory Card reader, three USB 2.0 ports, up to 200GB hard disk with 7200 RPM and a few configuration options.

The design:
Clevo TN121R packs a lot of things in its small body. There are three USB 2.0 ports, 7-in-1 memory card reader, headphone and microphone ports, VGA-15 pin, and the 12.1-inch 1280 x 800 glossy LCD touchscreen. The screen rotates easily, but the hinge seems a little too loose. The Clevo TN121R has a very comfortable keyboard, however, people with bigger fingers may find the keys too small and have some typing problems at first. The touchpad is also OK and again its two buttons may seem too small for some users. The pen included in the box is simply a piece of plastic so you might think of buying a proper one. As the entire device has glossy black finish it ia a real fingerprint nightmare, but it looks nice.

Performance:
The Clevo TN121R is a really good performer. The device can have up to 4GBs of RAM and an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 2.5GHz processor so it is more than enough for a business device. Of course, you can’t pack a very powerful graphics in such a small body so the Intel GMA X3100 Graphics will have to make do, but it is good enough for editing high-resolution photos and playing not too demanding 3D games. With the 7200 rpm hard drive the access to the disk and both writing and reading times are very fast. The display is bright and with good colors, yet the viewing angle is not the best. But that should not be an issue as you can easily rotate the entire screen. The Clevo TN121R does not overheat and works quietly. Unfortunately, also the speakers are a little bit too quiet for my taste. And while the wireless performance is good, the battery life is only average. But that is to be expected from such a small device with a powerful Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
